Practice Overview
| Our Practice is owned and operated by its founder Dr Yang WANG. Our practice is situated over 5 shop fronts and we offer all types of services such as Dental, Psychologist, Physiotherapy, Dietician, Podiatrist and Orthopaedic Surgeon. We are a fully computerised practice and have 4 Registered Nurses to support our GP's from Monday to Sundays. We have on site Pathology collection centre open 7 days a week. We also have an onsite x-ray and ultrasound. |
Practice Description
| Our Practice is located in the heart of Rooty Hill only minutes away from the Train Station. We have off-street parking and parking facilities directly across the road. We are open 7 days a week, Monday - Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturday to Sundays 8am to 6pm. We have recently renovated our Medical Centre and our practice now has 11 consultations rooms and one large procedure room with 2 beds. We have 2 dental rooms, Large physiotherapy facility and on site x-ray and ultrasound. |
Practice Staff
| We have a dedicated team of 20 staff who has been with us for a number of years, these include Administration, receptionist nurses and dental support staff. We have 2 GP supervisors and in total 13 GP's. |
Practice patient base and services
| Our patients are largely multi-cultural community. We offer a wide range of services and procedures such as: general health screens, family planning, women's and men's health, pregnancy tests, ECG and stress tests, vaccination, immunisation, minor surgery, removal of moles and skin lesions, work injuries, hearing tests, plaster casts and pre-employment insurance. |
Information for Registrars
| Our hours are flexible with Registrars and are negotiated individually with Dr WANG. We have secure staff parking behind the surgery. Registrars will have the opportunity to experience first-hand, a wide range of medical conditions and develop a deeper understanding of and appreciation for many cultures. In addition to formal teaching sessions, the GP supervisor is available to assist them with any problems or queries as they arise. Our other GPs also support the training program and can provide assistance as needed. |

| Dr Yang Wang. MB, BS, FRACGP. Yang graduated from Sydney University in 1997. He has worked as a GP for the past fourteen years and also has special interests in Skin Cancer, Cosmetic Injections and computers in practice. In his spare time, Yang enjoys being with his family, relaxing, searching the internet and playing squash. |
