This is a simple guided questionnaire seeking feedback on performance which would be useful for all registrars (and supervisors!)
2. Staff Trainee Assessment Rating (STAR) This is a series of statements to which staff put how much they agree or disagree with subsequent space for guided comments for feedback. This is useful for all registrars, especially those who like rating scales!
This anonymous questionnaire asks practice staff questions regarding the behaviour of the registrar in the following areas: · Problem solving, making a diagnosis, management plans · Emergency care · Working within limits of competence · Attitude to and relationship with patients · Working with colleagues · Probity · Health issues that may affect practice It is a scoring system, so does not allow much free comment. It is probably most useful for a registrar who is thought to be underperforming, to collect evidence on whether this is the case.
