I want to assess my registrar’s learning needs

 

There are 3 tools you can use

1. The WentWest Confidence Self Assessment Grid

This is a tool allowing the registrar to assess their confidence in topics right across the GP curriculum. All registrars will be using this tool to help them form a learning plan.

 

2. The Curriculum Competency Review

This tool allows registrars to assess their competence in areas across the GP curriculum, and may complement the WECSAG for some registrars.

 

3. PUNs & DENs

This tool allows learning needs to be identified as patients are seen, from areas where registrars were unable to meet the need of the patient.
